    Brooke spent the weekend in Hudson, NY and said it was an amazing way to spend 48 hours outside the city. The main street is a mile long strip jam packed with antique shops frequented by Martha Stewart and foodie restaurants written up in the Times. Here are her recos! STAY: Hudson Merchant House is a boutique B&B with a personal touch. The amazing owners host an delicious breakfast- Roy entertains with local lore and Mike cooks gourmet grub from ingredients grown in the backyard. EAT: Carb load at Cafe La Perche, a bistro hotspot with a bread oven imported from France. DRINK: PM Wine Bar is a cozy spot for a night cap post dinner. BUY: The must-have souvenir is a quirky painting from local legend and street artist Earl Swanigan. Find them scattered throughout antique shops or ask around to find Earl on the street.
