10 Things We Love 12.19.11

1 New Stock + Arrivals for New Year’s Eve!

Just in time to ring in the new year, we’ve restocked some of our most popular dresses and added new styles. Check them all out here and get them before they’re gone!

2 Ron’s Proposal!

Ron proposed to his girlfriend yesterday with a flash mob of friends and family in front of the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park! She said yes of course – congratulations!

3 New York Times Piece

Lara’s friend Leigh wrote this piece for The New York Times about growing up in and coming back to New York City. It’s beautifully written and such a delight to read; we can’t wait to see what she writes next!

4 Chanel Kicks

Apparently Chanel has a sporty side and we love their retro interpretation of the high top sneaker. Be best dressed at the gym in their Spring 2012 collection kicks.

5 ITP Winter Show

The NYU ITP program is one of the jewels of the NYC startup community; it is a masters program focused on the intersection of technology, design, and communication. Among their more notable alumni is Dennis Crowley, founder of foursquare.

Twice a year they host a show in which students demonstrate their projects to the public, and the current show is running through the end of today. Check it out if you can!

6 Weekend Getaways

Blaire celebrated her birthday over the weekend at the Fountain Bleu hotel in South Beach with friends. They even took her to pet baby lions and tigers in Miami – how cute!

7 Troops Come Home

In the spirit of the troops coming home from Iraq, we wanted to share this adorable video of military and man’s best friend reunions.

8 Bound Custom Journals

We love Bound Custom Journals – a site where you can create personal, made-to-order notebooks. You choose the content from their library of sections (lined, grids, calendars, maps, etc), and they take care of the rest. These make perfect gifts and better yet – through the end of the year when you buy a giftcard for a friend you get one for yourself!

9 Disposable

Mikkel loves this new FREE iPhone app from Hipstamatic. You have to finish the whole role of “film” before it let’s you see the photos…nice way to mix an “old concept” with new technology!

10 ALL at the Guggenheim

Alissa attended Maurizio Cattelan’s All exhibit at the Guggenheim this past weekend with her brother. The installation is an incredible compilation of his works to date and is definitely worth a trip!
