SEEN AT:

According to hair stylist Martin Christopher-Harper for Cutler/Redken Salon, the look was all about creating a California bohemian vibe — a laid back, funky Palm Springs girl. What Christopher-Harper coins “bourgeoisie boho”. Think: youthful, healthy hair.

GET THE LOOK:
Start with clean, wet then section out a straight, middle part. Next, rake Redken Full Frame 07 Volumizing Mousse through strands with your fingers (root to tips) and from roots to ends and rough blowdry hair until dry. Then loosely wrap small, random sized sections of hair around a 1 1/4 inch curling iron and spray Cutler Volumizing Spray after each wave for extra volume. To finish, lightly brush out waves with your fingers (not a brush!) and spray a fine mist of light mist of Redken Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray to keep the style in place.

SEEN AT:
Opening Ceremony

Both male and female models walked the runway at the companies first NYFW show and to keep the look on the women not-over-the-top and not stand out from their mail counterparts, Tom Pecheux, Estée Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director kept the makeup minimal and “focused on the eyes using a soft ‘off white’ to frame them in a traditional yet gentle and feminine way. The bold brow creates a ‘natural’ brow effect, as if they have never been touched and helps to anchor the look.”

GET THE LOOK:
Pecheux used Estée Lauder Pure Color Stay-on Shadow Paint in Halo, Pink Zinc or Chained depending on the model’s skin tone (from light to dark). Then added a touch of warmth to skin with Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer — applying a light dusting all over the face especially cheeks, forehead and the top of the nose. And the same for lips but with only a hint of color using Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Insatiable Ivory (out March 2014).

Katie Jane Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador, chose the stark polish contrast on hands and feet once she saw the luxe designer’s collection infused with bold colors as well as feminine touches and modern silhouettes.

GET THE LOOK:
After filing and shaping nails, apply a thin coat of butter LONDON Nail Foundation. Next, apply two coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Pink Ribbon and finish with a final coat of butter LONDON Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat. Wearing open-toe shoes, too? Compliment the basic mani with a bright red on toes — like the butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Pillar Box Red seen on models backstage.
