10 Things We Love 12.5.11

1Mystery Bling

For the entire month of December, pay $15 and our fashion team will hand pick a surprise accessory rental and add it to your order! What better way to complete your look this holiday season than being styled by our savvy stylists. After you add a dress to your cart, simply add the “Mystery Bling” item to your order and you’re good to go!

2 Facebook NYC

Welcome to the neighborhood, Facebook! On Friday, Facebook announced that it will open an engineering office here in early 2012. We love the fact that New York is becoming more of a hub for tech and social companies.

Check out RTR on Facebook if you haven’t already!

3 Pret a Manger

At RTR our lunch options are pretty limited, so when we got word that Pret a Manger was opening on the corner we could hardly contain ourselves. We were easily the most enthused patrons at their Hudson Street debut on Friday where they gave out free lunch. Chondita even left the first tip on Foursquare!

4Jonathan Adler

Jonathan Adler has some unreal holiday accessories right now. Neil got this menorah as a housewarming/christmakuh gift for a friend.

5 Birthday Cake

Tess is a design master on and off the clock. She made this adorable, picture perfect cake for her son’s third birthday.

6 Pinterest

We are addicted to Pinterest and all of the inspiration it provides! Some of us even have to set quotas for how long we can browse…

7 Pomme Cafe

Mikkel ate at Pomme Cafe in Astoria last night to celebrate a successful move. She says the lamb burger was unreal: spicy feta, tomato jam, cucumber, figs and arugula and the crispiest fries as the “cherry on top” – so good! And totally reasonably priced!

8Kick to Pick

Jenny loves this iPhone app that will help her choose a name for her baby girl (she’s due this month!). The app randomly generates thousands of baby names while monitoring the baby’s movements to sense any signs of enthusiasm. Such a fun, interactive app for expecting mothers!

9 iPod Nano Watchband

Tim loves this new style of the iPod Nano watchband out from LunaTik, the company that became insanely successful through Kickstarter.

10 Charles Bradley at the Bowery Ballroom

Erica attended Charles Bradley’s show at Bowery Ballroom this weekend and it was off the charts. Not only did Charles (commonly known as “The Screaming Eagle of Soul”) sing his soul out and bring the funk, she also walked in with Penn Badgley!
