Friday Fashion Fun


The mulleavy sisters of Rodarte foraying further into the world of costume design. After a super successful run at designing the costumes for Black Swan, they will be outfitting performers in the L.A. Philharmonic debut of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Judging by the costume sketch above, these will be on par with the incredible work they did for Black Swan. [V Magazine]



The nail art trend shows no signs of stopping and has been officially dubbed the it accessory of the season by our Fashion Director Lucy Sykes. We particularly love these nail designs celebrating the Met Spring 2012 Costume Institute Exhibit that honors designers Elsa Shiaparelli and Miucci Prada. [Fashionista]



We continue to see more examples of art mixing with fashion, the most recent being of designer Helmut Lang‘s transition to art. His exhibition just opened in Greenwich Village and from ‘matted black sheepskins on the walls and black stalagmites sprouting from the floor’, we can’t wait to see his work. [NYTimes]
