Friday Fashion Fun

Want to know what it takes to build your own business from the ground up? Look no further than the newest feature to grace the (web)pages of Fashionista: Fashionpreneur, a monthly column written by the one and only Jenn Hyman, our stunning CEO and co-founder. Each month, Jenn will give CE-hOpefuls the skinny on how to build a startup from scratch.  Her first piece of advice? Work it girl! [Fashionista]

As if her designs weren’t lust-worthy enough, Rebecca Taylor has us drooling over her new blog, “La Vie RT.” The New Zealand-born fashionista’s new site has the perfect blend of high fashion, personality, and eclectic design that will guarantee it a slot on our browser’s bookmark bar. Our favorite post to date? This sneak-peek of Taylor’s Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Show shot by a super8 (seriously, could she be any cooler?)…we can’t wait to get our runway faves into the RTR warehouse!   [WWD]

Which Opening Ceremony are we more excited for? The London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, airing worldwide next week, or this Opening Ceremony, a pop-up shop located in London’s Convent Garden? While as Americans that should be an easy decision, the retailer’s adorable shop has us wanting hop on the next flight to the UK for a vacay full of shopping before cheering on our Olympic team. From the printed stairs to the bright geometric shapes (not to mention the shop’s notoriously unique and stylish inventory!), we’re sure this temporary location will distract many a spectator from the Olympic games. [NYMag]
