Christian Siriano Rocks the Runway for Breast Cancer

Christian Siriano’s latest collaboration has heart.  The Annapolis native is bringing New York fashion and his Spring 2012 collection to the D.C. area by teaming up with 14 Washington designers for the Pink Jams! 2nd Annual Pink Rocks the Runway fundraiser. Alberta Ferretti Forever

Alberta Ferretti unveiled her second Alberta Ferretti Forever bridal collection.  Fittingly named after movie stars, the dresses are ethereal Old Hollywood glamour and each take between 30 and 80 hours to make.  We would gladly get married 13 times to be able to wear each one [Vogue UK]

Nicole Miller & Indego Africa

By adding apparel to the collection, Nicole Miller is expanding on her partnership with nonprofit organization Indego Africa, which supports women artisans in Rwanda.  She started with textile bangles and woven bracelets, and now Miller has branched out into using hand-crafted textiles to create bright colored sarongs and short-shorts.  The pieces are available online and 15% of the proceeds go to Indego Africa [FashionEtc]
