Something Smells Like Fall

Fall is right around the corner and one of my favorite things about this season are the smells. Fall is a time to get cozy and make your home smell nice and inviting as you spend more time indoors. However, busy women like us don’t have time to run around buying candles or make dried potpourri so I have come up with any easy DIY project to make your home smell great!
This is a great thing to do if you are having people over for a party because it makes the home very inviting and will spark conversation. Pair it with this Matthew Williams Jeweled Patchwork Dress for fall and you’ll get everyone talking!

The smell of coffee is so soothing and is a great scent for fall and a unique one for the home.
You can make a coffee and coconut liquid potpourri that smells wonderful in a flash and with items your likely to find in your own kitchen. The coconut scent pairs nicely with the coffee and makes for a sweeter and lighter smell.

1. Take a cup of water and bring it to a boil on your stove top.
2. Add in a cup of fresh coffee beans.
3. Pour in a splash of coconut extract.
4. Let this mixture sit on the stove at a simmer for 30 minutes.
5. The smell will waft throughout your home and linger for about a week!
6. Discard of the ingredients and enjoy the warm and cozy coconut coffee scent
