Yesterday Lela Rose presented her Resort 2010 collection at her AMAZING apartment in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City. Once I was able to take my eyes off the incredible architecture and beautiful interior design of her home, I saw some gorgeous clothes! Lela always creates a collection full of vibrant colors and juxtaposed textures, and this Resort Collection was no different. The models stood on tables in the living room and kitchen that come out of the floor and ceiling via pulleys so she can create a long table that can seat 100 guests…she LOVES to entertain. Always the perfect hostess, she even served homemade mint iced tea and macaroons. Those who know me know I have an unhealthy addiction to the latter. I was also lucky enough to be given a tour of the apartment. Enjoy the inside view! — Derek

Lela’s closet…Carrie Bradshaw would be jealous!
My favorite part of the apartment…the “Stitch-evator”- a mini elevator for Lela’s Norwich terrier, Stitch. It’s shaped like a dog house!
